Tutu to speak locally

Well known human rights activist Nontombi Naomi-Cecilia Tutu will share her experiences growing up as black female in apartheid South Africa when she speaks from 10-11 a.m. Feb. 14 in the E.H. Lannom, Jr. Gymnasium at Dyersburg State Community College. The public is invited to attend the event which coincides with DSCC’s celebration of Black History Month. Tutu is the third child of Archbishop Desmond and Nomalizo Leah Tutu. She blends humor and personal stories in her speeches.
