Forwards added
to Griz roster

MEMPHIS (AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies announced forwards Marreese Speights and Darrell Arthur have agreed to multi-year contracts with the team.
The team did not disclose terms of the deals announced on Friday, but General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Wallace said in a statement that signing the crucial players is important to the future of the franchise.
Speights came to Memphis in January from Philadelphia and set career highs in scoring (8.8 points), rebounding (6.2 points) and minutes (22.4 minutes) in 60 games. With Speights in the starting lineup, the Grizzlies clinched home court advantage for the first time in the first round of the playoffs.
Arthur missed the entire 2011-12 season with an injury, but the 24-year-old underwent surgery and is expected to play next season.
