Fulton seeded 2nd
in OVL tournament

The Ohio Valley League’s defending tournament champion is four wins away from a repeat.
Fulton will be the second-seeded team in the collegiate wood bat baseball league’s postseason playoffs, which begin tonight with a one-game opener as fourth seed Marion (15-25) hosts No. 5 Owensboro (13-27).
The winner of that game then moves onto a best-of-three series with OVL regular season champion Hopkinsville (28-12).
Fulton overcame a 5-11 start to finish second overall at 23-17 and will have homefield advantage against third-seeded Madisonville (21-19) in the semfinals.
The two second round series are slated for Wednesday through Friday, and then the championship series will be Saturday through Monday.
