Art classes slated

The Messenger, August 3, 2012

Fall/winter art classes at the Obion County Museum at 1004 Edwards St. in Union City are planned for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Most supplies are furnished and the fee is $10, which benefits the museum, according to a spokesman.
Classes include drawing and painting with varied media. Younger students may also have the opportunity to work in clay. The instructor may also offer students the chance to select topics for study. Tuesday classes for adults will be at 10 a.m., with home schoolers’ classes set for 1:30 p.m. and other students assigned a 3:30 time.
Thursday classes will be set for adults at 10:30 a.m., with arranged classes at 1:30 p.m. and after-school classes at 3:30.
