Cavs’ Ward tabbed Titans’ top coach Crockett County head coach Kevin Ward — whose team will host Obion Central Friday night — was the winner of the weekly Tennessee Titans Coach of the Week award. A longtime assistant at Westview before building Camden into a respectable program and then taking over at CC before last season, Ward saw his team rally in the fourth quarter for a 36-33 win over Haywood last week. The Cavaliers are 3-0, equalling last season’s win total. The Titans Foundation will give $1,000 to Crockett County High School, and Ward will be a guest of the Titans at the team’s final regular season game Dec. 30 against Jacksonville. Keith Hodge of Dresden also earned strong consideration for the award as a result of the Lions’ 35-14 win over McKenzie.
