Miss Jones to wed Ward on Oct. 6

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Jessica Susanne Jones and Zachary Clay Ward, both of Union City, are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Edward Jones of Obion and Susanne Taylor of Bon Aqua. Her grandparents are Jessie Jones and the late Clara Nell Jones of Union City and Joyce Taylor and the late Rev. William Lee Taylor of Nashville.
She is a 2006 graduate of Obion County Central High School and earned her associates of applied science degree from Dyersburg State Community College in 2009. She graduated magna cum laude in 2012 from Jackson State Community College, where she earned her associates of applied science in radiography. She is a nationally registered radiographer with the ARRT. She plans to receive her associate of science degree in diagnostic medical sonography in December 2013 from West Kentucky Community and Technical College in Paducah, Ky.
The groom-elect is the son of Billy and Carol Ward of Troy. His grandparents are Bobby and Merilyn Ward of Palmersville, the late John and Betty Carruth and Glen and Judy Cantrell, all of Milan, and Jerry and Sharron Quinton of Troy.
He is a 2004 graduate of OCCHS. He received his bachelor of science degree in agriculture business in 2009 from the University of Tennessee in Martin.
He is employed at Helena Chemical Company in Hickman, Ky.
The couple plan to wed 5 p.m. Oct. 6 at Troy First Baptist Church.
A reception will be held in the reception hall immediately following the ceremony.
All friends and family are invited. Only out-of-town invitations will be sent.
