Behavioral Healthcare of Martin is sponsoring a Run with the Zombies 5K Run/Walk and Mini Monster 1K Kids Run Oct. 6 at the Martin Recreation Complex.
The theme is “Run with the Zombies, Be Fast or Be Lunch.”
The event is open to all ages and will be a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of Pat Head Summitt.
Early registration will be accepted through Friday.
To participate in the Zombie Run/Walk, the cost is $15 if paid or postmarked before Friday. There is an $8 participation fee to participate in the Mini Monster Run if paid or postmarked before Friday.
After Friday’s early deadline, the Zombie Run/Walk fee will cost $20 and the Mini Monster Run will be $12.
Registration forms can be picked up from Carrie Brawley at BHC-Martin, located at 458 Hannings Lane. Make checks payable to Zombie Run/BHC-M.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. Oct. 6. The Zombie Run/Walk will start at 9, with the Mini Monster 1K event to follow.
