By The Numbers: The Red Devils simply followed Fowler to a 48-6 win over Greenfield in last week’s District 14A game at SF. Fowler carried the Redmen with 349 all-purpose yards, scoring five touchdowns on the night. He carried the ball 11 times for 200 yards with three TDs, caught a touchdown pass of 12 yards and returned a kickoff 89 yards for another score. He also had six point-after kicks to give him 78 points on the season
Honorable Mention: Khiry Lewis, Union City, had 259 all-purpose yards (162 rushing, 63 receiving, 34 kickoff return) with four TDs in his team’s 30-27 loss to Trenton; Blake Rudd, Obion Central, caught nine passes for 104 yards in the Rebels’ 41-14 loss to South Gibson; Josh Floyd, OC, had 17 carries for 96 yards and two catches for 30 yards.
