OLIVER SPRINGS, (AP) — It appears voters in Oliver Springs will ultimately decide whether to keep fluoride the municipal water supply. According to WVLT-TV, the water board in the Roane County city of 3,300 people originally intended to stop using the additive without telling the public. After a hearing Thursday night at which area dentists were among people who supported keeping fluoride, it was decided to put the issue on the 2014 ballot for a public vote. ——— Information from: WVLT-TV, http://www.volunteertv.com/
