Pleasant Hill Baptist Church news

Bro. Elwood led the music, accompanied by Bro. Mac, Bro. Steve, Vickie and Denise. Mallory West brought a solo for our special music.
Bro. Mac’s message was brought from II Corinthians.
The weather has turned to fall now and the leaves are beginning to turn into beautiful colors. Most everyone has very pretty mums decorating their houses and yards. It’s nice to be able to breathe better since the weather is cooler for people who have asthma and allergies.
It was good to have Dolores Mansfield in Sunday school. Steve, Marilyn and Meredith Mansfield from Texas were also visitors Sunday morning along with Meredith’s boyfriend, whom I failed to get his name.
I have lost my bulletin from Sunday so I can’t remember whose birthdays are this week except for my great-grandson, Gauge, who had a birthday Tuesday and our pastor, Bro. Mac, had one Wednesday. A very happy birthday to both of these guys.
Our church will have a fall festival this year as always. It will be Oct. 28 starting at 4 p.m. So everyone please remember to bring your favorite bags of candy to help the children have lots to eat. Also the ladies need to sign up to make a dessert for the cakewalk that we always have.
