The fourth annual “Cram the Cruiser” food drive kicked off Monday at Kentucky State Police Post 1 at Hickory, Ky., near Mayfield, Ky.
The effort benefits needy families at Christmas.
A KSP cruiser is parked at the entrance of KSP Post 1 on Highway 45 in Graves County and anyone may drop off canned or non-perishable food items in the police cruiser for the next month. On Dec. 15, the KSP will take the items to a local food pantry for distribution to families in the area.
During non-business hours, items may be dropped off in the lobby of KSP Post 1, located at 8366 State Route 45 North in Hickory.
