Reader ‘disappointed’ with veterans parade attendance
To The Editor:
I would just like to say a few words about the Veterans Day Parade on Saturday.
I was very disappointed with the turnout. You have Soybean parades, Christmas parades and other types of parades, and the streets are packed like sardines. You have a day to honor our veterans who have fought for our country and us, and people don’t bother to show up.
I am very disappointed in our community with the outcome. I would like the veterans to know that some of us do appreciate everything they have done for us and our country.
