IN SPACE — Students in Andrelle Burrus’s third-grade class at Union City Elementary School recently completed projects during a study of the solar system. Among those showing off their projects were (from left, front row) Atalaya Lopez, Gage Guiles, Graham Paschall, (middle row) Austin Meadows, Jackie Boroff, Audrey Adams, Matthew Herrell, (back row) Kaeden Radde, Caleb Clark, A’presciouss McPhearson and Anna Oliver. The students used many Internet Web sites and PowerPoint presentations to enhance their learning experience. Various art projects were used to reinforce learning and creativity.
