The Sons of Confederate Veterans local camp 176 will meet Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Obion County Museum on Edwards Street in Union City. All members are urged to attend, a spokesman said.
Guy Roberts will be the guest speaker and will present a program about secession votes in Tennessee.
The SCV works in conjunction with other historical groups to preserve Confederate history. It is not affiliated with any other group. The SCV rejects any group whose actions tarnish or distort the image of the Confederate soldier or his reasons for fighting.
