The Messenger, February 11, 2013 Marie Wright, 86, of South Fulton died Feb. 7, 2013, at her home. Graveside services were set for 11 a.m. today at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Water Valley, Ky. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of services. Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of arrangements. She was a member of Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church in South Fulton and was a graduate of the South Fulton High School Class of 1945. She had worked at South Fulton City Hall for 28 years, retiring as a city judge and city clerk for the City of South Fulton. She had lived in this area all of her life. Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Billy Wright, whom she married April 14, 1945; her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Connie Wright of Dyersburg; another daughter-in-law, Sandra Wright of South Fulton; six grandchildren and their spouses, Stacy and Anthony Wicker of Jackson, Kelli and Doug Clem of St. Robert, Mo., Emily and Justin Rudesill of Energy, Ill., Jeremiah Wright of Jackson, Rita and Justin Hunsucker of Morgantown, W.Va., and Troy and Jenny Wright of Dyersburg; and four great-grandchildren, Gavin Rudesill, Mason Rudesill, Anna-Claire Wright and Bentley Lane Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ottie Lee and Flora (Hicks) Bushart; her son, Bobby Wright; two sisters; and two brothers. Online tributes may be left at www.hornbeakfuneralchapel.com.
