James Micheal Stringer, 66, of Bradford, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at Delta Medical Center in Memphis.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Thursday) at Brocks Cemetery in Greenfield with Doug Powell officiating with Williams Funeral Home of Greenfield in charge of the arrangements.

Stringer was born June 25, 1946 in Martin, son James R. Stringer of Martin and the late Cyrena Louise Welshans Stringer. He was an environmental chemist.

Survivors also include his wife, Mrs. Sandra Stronger of Bradford; two sons, Jody Stringer of Milan and Jamie Stringer of Martin; one daughter, Tammy Worban of Fruitland; one sister, Teresa Jones of Viro Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Rick Stronger and Jeff Stringer, both of Martin; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
