Gospel Explosion slated
Bells Chapel CME Church, located at 207 North Highland Drive in Fulton, will host a Gospel Explosion Sunday at 3 p.m. Various choirs and singing groups, plus several soloists, will be featured.
The community is invited to attend, according to the pastor, the Rev. Eric McKinney.

Women’s group to meet
The Ken-Tenn Christian Women’s Connection’s “March Into Spring” luncheon is planned for Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Catfish Restaurant in Martin.
The special feature will be “Hop Into Spring,” with updated information and suggestions from Linda Aaron of Travel One in Union City.
The group will be welcoming singer and speaker Kellye (Cash) Shepphard, former Miss America, from Milan. She will be speaking on “Traveling From Place to Place,” with experiences of her lifetime.
All women are welcome to attend. The $8 ticket price includes program, bountiful buffet, drink and tip. Walk-ins are welcome or reservations can be made by Monday morning. Call (731) 587-3915, 885-9029, (731) 479-2979 or 479-8020.

Pancake breakfast set
South Fulton United Meth-odist Church has rescheduled the all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast for Saturday from 6-10 at the church.
The breakfast, which will include pancakes, sausage and all the trimmings, was canceled last week because of inclement weather.
Donations will be accepted for the church’s music ministry.
The church is located at 205 Orchard Drive.

Maundy Thursday service set
The Maundy Thursday service at Union City First Christian Church, located at 603 South Second St. in Union City, will begin at 6:30 p.m. March 20. The public is invited to attend.
The Rev. Paul Sternisha is the pastor.

Hispanic church worships
Casa de Gozo, an Hispanic church, is inviting the community to worship at 304 Lovelace St. in Martin. The Baptist congregation is led by the Rev. Jose Flores and has Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship following at 11. Wednesday Bible study and prayer is at 7 p.m.
